1. Quotation and Confirmation
A quotation is not considered a confirmed order. To confirm a quote, please notify us via email as soon as possible. Upon confirmation, we will send an invoice. For clients without a contract, a 50% deposit is required upon confirmation, with full payment due prior to the delivery date.
2. Payment Terms
The driver is instructed not to deliver any equipment without full payment received.
3. Deposit for New Clients
All orders for new clients are subject to an average refundable deposit, which will be discussed during the booking process.
4. Order Finalization
All orders must be finalized 24 hours before the collection or delivery date.
5. Damages and Shortages
All shortages, damages, burn holes, excessive wax, etc., shall be charged for.
6. Equipment Condition
The equipment shall be checked before acceptance and must be stated in good condition before delivery or collection.
7. Discrepancies
You must inform our office immediately of any discrepancies in the order that are noted upon delivery or collection.
8. Return Policy
The same conditions regarding equipment must be checked and returned in good condition as stated above.
9. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the total order value.
10. Liability
Skyline Events is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from the use of rented equipment. Clients assume full responsibility for the equipment during the rental period.
11. Force Majeure
Skyline Events shall not be held liable for any failure to deliver or perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, or governmental actions.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
